Liked our spotless and air-conditioned room with a perfect bathroom. The location was marvellous and stunning, a walking distance from old town. The staff were well-trained, provided very good services.

The food was great, and we loved the flexibility of dining in our room. The hotel is family-friendly!
For dads, it would be great to have some designated play areas for the little ones.

Price, location, breakfast
The bath/shower taps were very difficult to work. The room could do with a makeover as it was very old fashioned. There were no drying facilities, so considering we were there for walking and it was very wet there was know where to dry wet clothes. There was knowhere to put towels in the bathroom (heated towel rail wouldn't go amiss). Even the downstairs toilets had no coat hooks on the back of the doors. We wanted an evening meal on Sunday night but there was no chef so we had to look elsewhere.

Spotlessly clean with beautiful decor, the room was comfortable and the mattress deep. The restaurant offered dog-friendly dining with a fresh and imaginative menu, although the food quality varied. Some dishes were undercooked or lacking warmth. The location was ideal, right in the main square, but the absence of air conditioning was great. Noise from the street in the early morning interrupted sleep despite open windows.

Location - centre of Keswick town. Welcoming Staff very helpful Room was excellent, comfy bed, 2 nice chairs, tv, warm with easy to open windows for maximum ventilation Dining room welcoming and breakfasts very nice.
The only complaint I had was the bath/shower. Following hip surgery I need a hand rail to step in the bath, which was quite high so without help i would not have been able to shower. Also the shower screne had been placed behind the hand grip on the bath so even if you were in the bath you could not use the grips to pull yourself up. Poor design.

The room was cozy and well-designed, with a luxurious Herdwick bed, made for a restful night. The modern decor throughout the hotel was inviting, especially the common areas . I also appreciated the dog-friendly policy and the delicious breakfast options.
The room was sometimes noisy due to the town activities.
